*The Muscle used the 1,247 cubic centimeters (76.1 cu in) Revolution Engine, a 240 mm wide rear tire, 5 US gallons (19 l; 4.2 imp gal) fuel tank, slipper clutch and forward controls. Unlike the other models in the VRSC lineup, the Muscle had straight shot dual exhausts, with a crossover, one on each side of the bike, unlike the 2>1>2 exhaust found on all other VRSC models. Additionally, the Muscle used an air-box with mock-up air-rams like those found on many American pony and muscle cars. Pretty cool huh? Everyone thought that they really had something, however, once the Muscle went into production the air rams that appeared on the original became only cosmetic. Another cosmetic yet safety feature was added to the bike. Turn signals were integrated into the mirrors. The first time these signals became a stock feature on Harley Davidson motorcycles. The production model also came sith a chopped rear fender and also featured turn signals into it. We will take all of that into perspective and say that while it is nice to have a bike that offers a lot of power, you also need to make sure that others around you can see you and become advised of what you plan to do next; like turn at the corner rather than continuing in a straight path. With that said, we will be thankful for these changes to our motorcycles.
